originally, this was just meant to be a summer blog, but I feel compelled to keep it going just as a way to express myself whenever I feel like it. As aformentioned, whenever I feel like it, which means, not too regularly, but I do hope it entertains and informs some people.

It's been a while

Well, it's been a while since I've been back on blogger to... well, blog basically. I kinda stopped the whole video of the day though I always find good ones on youtube that I would love to share, but my one reader i don't think really reads anymore to really check, so why bother.

Sad to say, I haven't been on yotube in a while actually. Honestly, now that i think about it, is it sad? I mean it used to consume my time and David Cho's, "YouTube-A Love Song" was my antheme, and now within this past month I have only gone on it a few times a week , and in those few times I would just check my subscribtions. I'm only subscribed to 5 people, and all of them don't update that often. If there's nothing new I just go somewhere else online. I've kinda stopped the whole, watch-one-video-that-leads-to-another-useless-video-that-takes-up-at-least-2-minutes-of-my-life-that-i'll-never-get-back trend... persay. Let's just say I've cut back. Good right? Means I'll spend less time on the computer and more time being productive and making something of myself.

WRONG!! I've found a new internet addiction!! And it's name is Facebook! I was able to surpress it's magnetic power until 2 weeks ago. I really tried to fight it, honestly I did! But then all my youth groups started to create groups on facebook where everyone could converse when outside of meetings. Plus I started going on msn and have 5 people just pop up and go, "do you have a facebook?" all the time. I would never talk to these people either, yet they ask me if I have facebook. Ironic isn't it? I mean, I don't talk to you on msn, do you really think I'll talk to you on facebook. Facebook may by convient, but if you really wanted to talk to me, you had my contacts, you could have least gone out of your way and put a little effort into staying in contact. I mean, same thing on my part, but I don't talk to you anymore for a reason, and vice versa. Let's leave it at that people, move on with life, and then meet other people and the whole cycle begins again. It really shows you who your friends are. Facebook does has it perks I admit. Like finding old friends you used to go to elemtary school with. Hope to rekindle a friendship, but then be dissapointed when they don't remember you no matter how hard you try.

And it has it's stalking appeal to it. Really, I'm serious. You can find anyone as long as you know their whole name, and once you add someone you can track everything they do, I mean EVERYTHING. It's a stalkers dream come true. It also appeals to the masses because there's a little stalker in everyone. It's human nature to be curious, suspicious, and nosey about everyone's business. Can't deny that! Plus it's so user friendly, and everyone loves convienence. Oh, and you just gotta love all the groups. There's a group for absolutely everything on the face of the earth. Through these groups you develope a bond with others who have a common interest no matter how random. It's an interesting bond because some of these groups are so random. It's not like you meet a person who likes the same music as you, more like, you find another person who likes to be a flirt as much as you.

Some of my favourite silly groups are:
I judge you for your grammer
It wasn't awkward until you said, "now, this is awkward", and now it is
I don't how comfortable Crocs are, you look like a dumbass

There are more serious groups out there such as ones for charitable causes, and support of minority groups.

And there are just groups for people who just want to connect through education institutions. Such as alumi groups of elemtary, jr. high, and high schools. There are even groups for classes that haven't even graduated! Such as "Wellesley Class of 2011". Is your future so set in stone that you know you'll graduate from a certain post secondary? And that you take so much pride from it already! Really? Because that goes beyond me.

Like I said, there are groups for everything. I believe that is the most appealing feature to facebook, well at least to me, and that is why, I am a facebook addict. There's even a group for that! I'm not joking.

well that's enough for me. I'll probably blog again next month! TTFN, ta ta for now.
